É tudo intencional, pois nestas coletâneas os produtores buscaram os artistas que na época do lançamento fizeram pouco ou nenhum sucesso, só que com o passar dos anos sobreviveram pela altissima qualidade de seus trabalhos. The grooves here are often very open and rhythmically progressive, not your usual mainstream funk, although some of the cuts are certainly by familiar artists and more in the mode of the looser rhythms and complicated changes that were sometimes ignored back in the day, but which have come to be classics many generations later!
